• London Taxis International's new Fairway cab will be fitted with a Nissan TD27 "Plasma" 2.7-litre four-pot diesel engine. Nissan will also supply a fourspeed automatic gearbox, 4N71B, and a five-speed manual gearbox, for the cab. The new Fairway cab will succeed the FX4S PLUS which was revamped and released in 1987. Nissan predicts that it will import around 3,000 sets of engine/transmissions annually for the new cab.
