• Transfleet Services has clinched its most valuable deal to date. The 10-year-contract with Asda Stores is said to be considerably larger than Transfleet's previous record contract of £10 million. Transfleet has bought Asda's fleet and another 300 new vehicles, giving Asda a total fleet of 350 tractors and trailers. The tractive units are a mixture of ERF E14s, MAN 17.292s and Scania P113s.
