MAY we through the medium of your magazine ask if any passenger vehicle operators, has, or is considering for disposal, a 25/30-seater coach or a long wheelbase mini-bus complete with tachograph.
To put you in the picture, this group had intended to take a party of scouts abroad but has found that the group's present vehicle does not comply with EEC legislation, Our present vehicle is a D registration Commer and we have been quoted a price of £360 for a tachograph to be supplied and fitted, which is just not economic sense as the vehicle is only valued at about £100.
If you are able to find some space in a future edition of your magazine it would be much appreciated.
