Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

VOLVO TRUCKS appears to have turned the economic corner and is planning to recruit over 100 new employees in Sweden later this year.

Production is up by 10 to 15 per cent, compared with last year, and the previously under utilised Umea factory is now working at full capacity. The extra workers are needed at Gothenburg.

In the United States, Volvo White, is now profitable again and production this year will be double that achieved in 1983.

By last year, Volvo had climbed from sixth place in the world truck manufacturing league in 1981 to third place, behind Daimler Benz and Renault. Sales are climbing fast in the United States, but there is low demand in Australia, the Middle East (except Iran) and much of Latin America.

In Britain, market share in the over-3.5 tonne sector climbed to 8.3 per cent in the firstquarter of this year.
