AMONG the many items of tyre servicing I-1 equipment distributed by Grantham Machinery Co. Ltd. is an electro-hydraulic jack capable of lifting weights of up to 15 tons. Mounted on small retractable pneumatic wheels, the jack is easily positioned without fitters having to crawl under the vehicle. The wheels of the jack are raised by means of a foot pedal, and the lifting ram is operated by a push-button control on the handle.
