THE SMMT has extended its proposed scheme for the ready identification of matched tractive units and semi-trailers, The original draft data sheets dealt with 30-ton-gross (category 30A) and 28-ton-gross (category 28A) outfits, both consisting of two-axle tractive units and tandemaxle semi-trailers.
