W. ALEXANDER AND SONS was last week. in Glasgow granted permission by the Scottish Traffic Commissioners to improve its holiday tours service from the city to Blackpool and Scarborough.
Mr. R. Abercrombie, its traffic manager, said the company wished to introduce sevenand eight-day tours, because regular patrons felt the existing fiveand 12-day services were either too long or too short.
