A Well-equipped Mobile Showroom.

A company of hardware and -electrical factors, Richard Johnson, Chipham and Morris, Ltd., of Trafford Park, Manchester, has recently placed in service an interesting Mobile showroom, an -excellent impression of which can be obtained from the accompanying pictures.

The chassis is a special Leyland Lioness passenger model, whilst the wellequIpped body is also of Leyland manufacture. The interior is spacious and, in spite of the fact that many hundreds of samples are carried, there is ample room for two persons to walk abreast along the gangway in the centre. The samples are rendered vibration proof by simple means—an essentialneed when one bears in mind the nature of the goods carried. In addition to hardware and electrical appliances, wire netting and other products manufactured by-. the user are effectively displayed. • It is intended that the showroom shall visit once or twice a year almost every customer in the large area covered by the company. It will provide the opportunity for a wide tango of goods to be taken for inspection purposes to the retailer's door, instead of the retailer visiting the manufacturer's showrooms, or relying solely on sales literature.
