Sue Rodgers now controls the day-to-day operations of a 70strong fleet of collection and delivery vehicles, trunking trailers and tractive units. She controls a staff of 160, mainly lorry drivers and parcel handlers.
Miss Rodgers is responsible for Roadline's total distribution and overnight parcels services in an area which covers Leicestershire, Nottingham and Lincolnshire.
She joined Roadline as a management trainee in 1978 and gained extensive operational experience in all aspects of parcel distribution while working at Roadline's Hadleigh Road, Ipswich hub centre.
