PETER KIRKY and Keith Studer have been made joint managing directors of Lep Transport and will be based at the group's head office in London.

Mr Kirkby joined Lep in 1956 and became a director in 1974. Before his new appointment his main responsibilities had been for the northern division of the company and Lep's operations in Northern Ireland.

Mr Studer joined the company in 1969 and joined the board in 1975 when he became responsible for the Lep Midland division working from the company's Birmingham office.

Lep has also formed a new operational London region. Geoff Lockwood, present manager of Lep Bradford, will be in charge of the new group and will be based at the group headquarters in London.
