THE RETAIL Automotive Alliance (RAA) has confirmed that it will continue to use Manheim Remarketing to sell its de-fleeted vehicles after striking a new deal. RAA will remarket around 1,500 vehicles per year through Manheim's dedicated CV auctions at Colchester, Gloucester, Haydock, Leeds and Mansfield. Including cars, RAA expects to remarket 25,000 vehicles a year. Oliver Greening, RAA business development director, said: "RAA members have worked closely with the Manheim auction centres since 2006, and are delighted to continue
this partnership Manheim is a market-leading brand and an excellent fit with the RAA."
The RAA is a joint venture company that negotiates and buys on behalf of its members, which are 23 independent dealer groups that include CV dealers Day's Motor Group, Haynes Bros and Hendy Group.
Michael Buxton, chief operating officer at Manheim Remarketing, said: "The sales are always well attended and the vehicles are sought after, leading to lively bidding from buyers both in the auction hall and online."
