• An interesting solution to blocked windscreen washer system has been developed by Somerset-based Hydro International.
The Hydro-Brake flow control device is claimed to provide a reliable method of counteracting blockages automatically. There are no moving parts, the unit is self-cleaning and no power supply is necessary.
The system is based around a self-activating process in which high peripheral velocity is generated within specially designed casings. Apparently the technique has been successfully employed in several applications.
