• A major investigation into the availability of goods vehicle spare parts is being undertaken by the FTA. In the next few days every one of the Association's members will receive a reply-paid questionnaire asking for specific details of any difficulties in obtaining parts, the non-availability of which is resulting, the FTA believes, in the loss of thousands of vehicle-operating hours and considerable financial commitments.
