• Preparation of the code of guidance about the payment of rural bus service grants by local authorities is well advanced, according to Mr. Bob Brown, MoT Parliamentary Secretary. In the meantime, he said, several local authorities were going ahead with schemes, and the Ministry was ready to advise any body proposing to use these powers.
