• A course aimed to provide a specific training module within the framework of industrial training for managers in the road transport industry is arranged for 1970 by the Southend-on-Sea College of Technology. The material in lectures and syndicate work will be concentrated on costing and financial aspects of transport.
The course will be residential, involving three days in mid-week for two weeks. Members arrive on Monday evenings and depart on Thursday afternoons. Course dates are March 9 to 19; June 1 to June 11; September 21 to October 1; October 5 to 15.
The College is also arranging general courses for transpot managers as follows: January 12 to February 5: February 9 to March 5; April 13 to May 7; October-19 to November 12; November 23 to December 17.
