AN application by H. and I Quick, Ltd., to issue £100,000 7 per cent. cumulative redeemable preference shares to provide additional capital for expansion has been refused by the Capital Issues Committee. Subject to the approval of the stockholders, the company will issue £50,000 of this capital, for which they will not require Treasury consent. The balance will be raised later.
