THE Star Aluminium Corn. pany of Audenshaw, Manch. ester, is marketing a new type of aluminium bridgeplate which is designed to cope with wide gaps, heavier loads and greater height differences than was possible with its earlier versions.
Called the MG type, thE bridgeplates have an anti-slir surface, a rubber strip, and ar adjustable metal leg under neath for additional safety.
