THE PROBLEMS of introducing the tachograph and the implications of the new regulations are to be discussed later this month in a one-day conference entitled Planning for the Introduction of Tachographs.
Among the papers that will be presented are ones on stafi agreements, the effect on distribution networks of the eight-hour driving day, and monitoring tachograph charts to provide management information.
Michael Lainas, service and distribution director of Dixons Photographic UK Ltd, will be addressing the conference on how his company has already introduced the tachograph. Transport Minister Norman Fowler will give the luncheon address.
