IRELAND's national -b strike CM last week) h ended, following an interi judgement by the Labo Court.
After a hearing by ti Court, the National Busmer Union called off the strike at accepted a £7 flat rate pa ment to Coras Iompair Eir ann's bus drivers for the ne eight to 10 weeks.
In the meantime, the Cot is to conduct an in-depth stu( into the conditions of Dubl city busmen, and will spel some time travelling on bus and visiting CIE garages.
There is optimism at last Ireland that CIE staff w agree to one-man operation double-deck buses in Dubli after 12 years of deadlock ov the issue.
