Coatbridge Eurogrant
FREIGHTLINER is expanding its Coatbridge terminal with the help of a £75,000 grant from the EEC's European Regional Development Fund.
The grant towards its £250,000 project was obtained through the Scottish Office. The money will be used to transfer a new Morris crane from Freightliner's Sheffield terminal, and to provide heavier crane beams, civil engineering works and roadways.
When finished, the development will give Coatbridge much needed extra capacity and will, Freightliner says, improve services to UK ports.
