• CM has driven another new 4x4 variant—the automatic transmission version of Land Rover's Discovery Tdi. The ZF box removes the worry of stalling the engine, making green-lane travel quite relaxing. Land Rover reports good fuel economy, and says the automatic is taking a high proportion of sales.
It is not offered with the turbo-diesel Discovery Commercial, but as that is built to order, it is likely it could be accommodated.
