Unit areas will he:—NORTH-EASTERN: 4orthumberland, Durham, Yorkshire and part I Lincolnshire. NORTH-WESTERN: C umbermd, Westmorland, Lancashire and Cheshire. 4IDLAND: Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, .eicestershire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Ierefordshire. Shropshire, and Staffordshire. ASTERN: Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Hert)rdshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, lxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Rutland, :ambridgeshire, Huntingdon and part of Lincolnhire. SOUTH-EASTERN: Kent, Surrey, Sussex, lampshire and Berkshire. SOUTH-WESTERN: Houcestershire. Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset, tevon and Cornwall.

£11m. Liverpool Road Scheme: Work starts soon on a £11m. scheme to build a flyover and gyratory system to ease traffic congestion at one of Liverpool's busiest street intersections, the Queen's Drive— Breeze Hill (A5058)----Rice Lane (A59) junction. Each road carries about 20,000 vehicles a day, about a third of them "heavy goods".
