Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Trailer-mounted hoist runs on bogie

n NE man can unload 7,000 bricks

on site within 18-20 mm., a demonstration has proved. The means of achieving this was by using a new Hiab hoist—a modified version of the Model 713—and a new hydraulic grab for handling unloaded bricks.

This equipment was mounted on a Leyland Beaver/Highway articulated outfit owned and operated by Sneyd Brickworks Ltd. and was shown at their Bollington, Cheshire, brickworks. In this case the driver, single-handed, achieved the feat mentioned. A pneumatic-tyred bogie carries the hoist and can run the full length of the trailer platform.

Sole concessionaires for the hoist are George Cohen Machinery Ltd. (600 Group), Wood Lane, London WI 2, and the price, including bogie, is around £3,400.

Power for the hydraulics is provided by a Ruston 18 h.p. singlecylinder diesel mounted on the bogie.

The hoist can be mounted on almost any lorry or truck, and various types of grab can be specified.
