Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

position regarding the use of radio in coaches? I understand that a tax is payable to the Performing Right Society depending on the number of seats in the coach. Is this correct?

A Any use of radio or amplifying equipment

in a public service vehicle for public broadcasting, whether it be a direct broadcast or the use of recorded music, comes under the copyright of the Performing Right Society Ltd. and it is illegal to use such equipment in a coach without a licence from this body.

The charge is 2d a seat a month for any coach, with a minimum charge of £2 a year. If a coach is in service for only six months of the year. for example, a charge will be made for those months only. Application for the necessary licence should be made to the Licensing Department, Performing Right Society Ltd.. 29/33 Berners Street, London W1.

It is also necessary, of course, to have a licence issued by the post office before a radio can be used on a motor vehicle.
