Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AMAZINGLY THE driver of the car transporter pictured above was cut free from the smash alive, but with serious leg injuries.

The accident was the second to occur on the M6 in Warwickshire on Monday. The first collision at 8.04am near Junction I involved two artics travelling on the southbound carriageway. One of the drivers was trapped in his cab until shortly before 10.30am when he was transferred to the University Hospital, Coventry.

At 8.40am a second collision took place on the southbound carriageway, near 12, at the rear of a tailback of traffic that had built up as a result of the first collision. Three trucks were involved.
