• The National Finals of the Lorry Driver of the Year Competition (sponsored by United Transport International) will be held at Cranfield Institute of Technology, Cranfield, Bedfordshire on Sunday, September 7. Among the finalists who have emerged from the regional qualifying rounds is Cohn Burrows of Esso, who was Lorry Driver of the Year in 1975, 1981 and 1984.
