BUS FARES in south Yorkshire may go up next month because of threshold pay deals.
The Barnsley-based Yorkshire Traction Co has applied to the Traffic Commissioners for permission to introduce a series of graded fare increases linked to present and future threshold payments to staff.
Fares on express services to London and other major centres will rise by 10 per cent if the application is approved.
