ANOTHER company-municipal coordination proposal was put before the Yorkshire Traffic Commissioners, on Monday, in the form of a joint application by Doncaster Corporation and the Yorkshire Traction Co., Ltd. It was submitted that the scheme would save much wasteful mileage.
The application followed the purchase by the Yorkshire Traction Co. of services operated by Mr. T. S. Carnplejohn, Messrs. B. and S. Motor• Servicesi and Messrs. J. Marson and Sons. It was stated that it had been possible, by taking over other interests, to reduce many of the fares. The Commissioners reserved their decision.
