Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Volvo has reduced routine servicing time by 22% on its vehicles and is offering an extension to driveline warranty to 500,000km.

The service and inspection interval rationalisation has reduced the number ofworkshop visits. In place of the old L3, LA Sc! and BC! there is now an intermediate (safety check and chassis lubel, basic service (intermediate plus change engine oil and filter), and an annual service (basic plus others including gearbox and near axle oil change, fuel filter change and coolant change).

The no-cost Driveline Cover which can follow the normal warranty period has been increased from 350,000km to 500,000km.

This is available on models launched in the UR since 1988 and is subject to provisos such as servicing being carried out by an authorised Volvo workshop. If this is done, the manufacturer will now meet the cost of a failure in the driveline due to faulty manufacture or materials.
