You've heard of the Government plans to produce a Green Paper on integrated transport before the summer. I'm sure. Well, a North London haulage contractor, Tom McGee, just couldn't wait. It seems he's been doing a little bit of profitable integration himself.
With three Magirus 18yd tippers, Tom is moving muck from an old railway siding in North London to make way for a new railway line, and he's moving it to in-fill part of Surrey docks for the Port of London Authority. Just to make it pay, he's carrying sand back to the North London site.
