I read with interest the report (CM, March 19) by Stephen Geary on the recent Conference held by the Institute of Purchasing and Supply where he referred to comments by George Wilmot about a possible TML system.
It should be clearly understood by your readers that the Government has not yet made any detailed decisions regarding Admission to the Occupation of Road Haulier under the relevant EEC Directive.
Therefore all references to TML beyond the terms of the directive itself are speculative rather than factual.
