MOVING the Commercial Vehicle Show to the new National Exhibition Centre at Birmingham in 1978 will not necessarily mean that truck and coach men will have more space. For the new Show, although at 92,900sq m double the present commercial show size, will include cars.
An SMMT spokesman said accurate statistics for the areas available to truck manufacturers would not be available for another year. "We have not yet decided which of the several halls the truck men will have," he added.
