Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A BANFFSHIRE haulier wants to develop a regular fish freighting service between Orkney and the fish markets at Aberdeen and Peterhead.

CER Transport moved into Orkney with the ro-ro ferry link between Scrabster and Stromness last year but payloads were largely one-way with little coming from Orkney.

But now the company thinks that some of the shortfall can be made up by using its new artic units to haul fish to mainland markets.

CER chief Mr Robert Ross said: "Up to now we couldn't do much for the fishermen. It lust wouldn't have been economic to tie up a conventional lorry waiting for fish. But now we're equipped with artics, and a trailer and driver are available in Orkney each day to handle fish If required."
