Section 64 of the Transport Act 1968 requires the Licensing Authorities to ensure that operators have adequate maintenance facilities and arrangements. Many established operators are finding that their own facilities do not meet the requirements. Next week in CM we look at the whole question of facilities: • What the DoE examiners look for.
