'OR a trial period of a year, starting from yesterday, April 1, the special charges ,r abnormal loads passing through the arford-Purfleet tunnel have been reduced. he RHA recently made an approach to the unnel Joint Committee regarding charges n. these big indivisible loads.
The charges, which are in addition to the ormal toll fees, have been revised as )1lows:—
The tunnel authorities hope that the lower 3.arges will encourage more abnormal traffic use this route so that overall income from di source does not fall.
