Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I WAS extremely interested by the letter from I " R.E.M.E." in your issue dated February 27 His strictures on spreading tendencies in the trade were, in the main, all too true. As it will be in the interests of all your readers, may we urge that you publish a list of those commercial-vehicle distributors and agents who do maintain a 24-hour service for repairs and salvage.

Garages with all-night services have been listed by the Press for private-car users, and such a method encourages this desirable service.

Although it ic uneconomic, my company does maintain recovery-facilities all night and at week-ends. Repair facilities exist till 8 p.m. and these are always extended later if required for the convenience of our clients.

Apart from an editorial" feature" schedule, we would suggest that a regular list be published for the inclusion of names and for which some small charge could be made. T. J. THOMAS.

Purley. Director, (For Can Bros. Garages, Ltd.) [We have no list of commercial-vehicle garages giving allnight service, but perhaps some of those who do this will send us their names and addresses, in which case, we shall be pleased to publish details.—En.]
