ANOTHER difficult situation is developing in London Transport circles. The central bus workers, through a conference of garage representatives, have asked the executive council of the Transport and General Workers Union to tender a month's notice to terminate the present agreement, and are seeking authority to strike work when it expires.

The men are striving for a shorter working week and other improved conditions of employment. Certain minor concessions offered_ by the Board are regarded as inadequate.
