Harry Brown thinks it’s like this: “I know a few White Van Men and some of them like to think they’re professional drivers. Some of them are, but with others it’s like estate agents – they’ve got a stigma for being crap drivers so they do their best to live up to it.” Brian Skinner has them down as just “barmy”, while Chris Wootton is most irked that they “drive too close”. Lawrence Baldock and Alex Dixon both decide discretion is the better part of valour, since they used to drive white vans themselves. We’re awarding 10 out of 10 to them both for being prepared to admit it.
