SIMPLE ANSWERS FROM PANASONIC • Panasonic is replacing its current 14-series telephone answering machines with two new models.
The KX-T1440 and KXT1445 dispense with fiddly resetting procedures in favour of user simplicity. Panasonic's Auto Logic Operation makes it possible to auto rewind, play messages and save them, and to set the machine to continue recording after the last message.
If desired, the user can feign absence and listen to the caller over a speaker, while the machine records the message.
The models are available through Panasonic's dealer network. The KX-T1440BE costs 284.95; and the KX-T1445BE costs 2114.95.
