SWIFT TO GLOUCESTER • Swift Transport Services is moving its South West depot from Stroud to Gloucester.
Swift intends to keep part of the Stroud operation, but needs the extra space because of an increase in volume being handled.
BOC GOES ECONOC• RUISING • Econocruise has sold its Electric Motor Actuated (EMA) speed limiter system to BOC, which operates a diversified fleet of 800 vehicles.
BOC says it chose Econocruise after experiencing reliability problems with its existing speed limiters. The EMA unit is standard equipment on all new BOC trunking vehicles.
ERF trucks are already factory-fitted with Econocruise, with Seddon Atkinson having a dealer-fit option, via an Econocruise outlet.
