• Trio Containers has placed a £1 million order for 45 Iveco Ford Load Star 175.17 chassis fitted with Telehoist CH503A skiploaders as part of a major expansion programme to its 300-strong fleet. The vehicles will be hired out from Trio's seven depots.
IR Brittany Ferries plans to double its freight capacity before the Channel Tunnel opens in 1993 as part of a le£100 million expansion. It will double its sailings from Poole to Cherbourg and o . ncentrate on specialist services to Cherbourg, Caen and St Maio.
