• Dutch coach bodybuilder Jonckheere has made several cosmetic changes to its successful P599 Deauville.
The front and rear of the 51-seater coach have been remoulded; twin headlights have been added to increase visibility, and the new rear line of the coach should reduce the cost of rear accident repairs, claims the company,. Luggage space has also been improved.
The main specifications of the Deauville, including the adjustable steering column and Vogel Quadro reclining seats, remain the same, with Volvo, Daf and Scania underframes available.
Jonckheere's after-sales operation now offers a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week emergency service throughout Europe.
El Havelet Leasing is one of the first companies to order the new-look Deauville. In a deal worth around 23 million, 30 vehicles will be delivered to the London-based leasing company between November and May of next year.
All of Havelet's Deauvilles will be available on longand short-term lease.
