Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE ANTI-SPRAY regulations which were expected to be published within days of CM going to press this week, may not now apply to as wide a range of vehicles as originally proposed.

The "over 7.5 tonnes gvw" threshold which was proposed in the draft Regulations may be raised, though it is still not clear if the Department.of Transport will accept the 12 tonnes breakpoint suggested by some commentators, and based on EEC categorisation.

However, it is virtually certain that a phased-in retrofit pro gramme for anti-spray equipment on in-service trailers will be allowed, following strong representation from a number of organisations.
