Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ARSON is suspected following a Elm fire at National Carriers Ltd's Gloucester depot last weekend.

A man was questioned by police in connection with the fire, while NCL itself arranged speedy cover for the 10 vehicles and 26 trailers destroyed in the blaze on Saturday night.

Vehicles were drafted in from other NCL regions, and normal deliveries were being predicted confidently by the company as we went to press.

In addition to the vehicles, some 8,000 parcels were destroyed, and the depot, which adjoins Gloucester railway station, has lost most of its roof and deck area.

Temporary premises may be erected in Gloucester while the company assesses the future of its Gloucester premises.

NCL's West regional director Joe Flannery told CM this week that local collections, strengthened by vehicles hired within the area, restarted on Tuesday and that trunk vehicles were being borrowed from Wednesday.

He added: "Throughout the weekend we have received magnificent support from our staff, who have been working in adverse conditions. "We have also received considerable co-operation from British Rail."
