WITH interest in articulated buses growing in many parts oft world, Scania in Brazil has co-operated with local bodybuilc Caio to build its first artic bus.
The 35-seated, 115-standee bus is based on a Scania B front-engined chassis with the articulated front and rear chas built by Brazilian manufacturer Recrusul.
Meanwhile the parent company Scania-Bussar is consideri manufacturing a rear-engined pusher artic bus based on CR112 chassis. The CR112 was exhibited at the RTITB spc sored Bus Driver of the Year Competition recently.
