A MECHANICAL SWEEPER which appears ideal for workshops and yards is available from Equipment and Engineering. Made in Sweden, the Hojme is powered by a 6 h.p. petrol engine and fitted with a double silencer.
The main broom sweeps dirt into a hopper, while the vacuum fan carries the airborne dust into a filter constructed to separate the dust and expel the clean air.
The main broom is made up from six interchangeable sections, and the rotating side brush allows dust to be swept from walls. The petrol tank holds 1 gal and total weight of the sweeper is 3.5 cwt. Marketed by: Equipment and Engineering Co. Ltd., 18 Charlotte Road, London, EC2.
