DEVELOPMENTS in mechanical handling and warehousing will be reviewed by three specialists at a one-day (October 18) seminar arranged by Davies and Robson, of Croydon, transport and distribution consultants, at Charing Cross Hotel, London.
Mechanical handling aids will be discussed by Mr. R. P. A. F. Williams, a senior consultant with the Bristol office of Davies and Robson, and formerly an executive with Haryevs of Bristol and the Amev Group. Mr. Peter Falconer, principal of a firm of architects and consultants, will lecture on warehouse layout and design, and Mr. George Wilmot's subject will be: "Containers, their use and abuse". Course fee is £15 15s.
