Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Moron Tables of Operating Costs states that the vehicles included in Tables One and Four have standard van bodies while platform bodies are assumed to be fitted to all other goods vehicles shown in the Tables except, as specified, the 5-ton van and 7-ton tipper in Table Two. How do I calculate the additional insurance cost for an eight-wheeled articulated tanker as compared with the 16-ton artic shown in Table Six?

AAs also stated in the introduction to the

Tables, the actual amount payable by individual operators in respect of vehicle insurance will vary according to the area of location, type of operation, capacity and value of vehicle, the extent of cover required and, with increasing emphasis, the fleet accident records of individual operators.

The average insurance premium allowed for the platform-bodied 16-ton artic included in Table Six is based on an initial cost of £4,565. Whatever was the additional cost of the tanker you operate (and assuming a similar carrying capacity) an additional value excess would be payable over and above the £280 a year premium for the platform vehicle at the rate of £1 per £100 excess, plus an addition of 25 per cent.
