Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Woodstock Factory, Oldham, Lancs.

SINCE the last Passenger Number Seddon has introduced the Pennine IV p.s.v, chassis. A second Seddon model within the scope of this survey is the Mark 17 and both models have a Perkins 6.354,120 b.h.p, diesel at the front end of the chassis.

The Pennine IV is basically designed for 32ft-long bodies but wheelbase options to permit 24ft to 36ft overall lengths are available. Also available on this chassis is a Perkins 170 b.h.p. V8 engine. The drive is through a 14in clutch in the case of the 6.354 and the engine is mounted as a unit with a five-speed constant-mesh gearbox. Dual-line airpressure braking is employed with wedge-type units actuated by piston/diaphragm dual chambers all round.
