Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Models in the new PET series of cabletie installation tools from Panduit are designed to install cable ties automatically in less than a second, including tensioning of the tie and removal of the excess tail.

These tools can be powered by a Ni-Cad battery cartridge, a battery belt or an AC adapter supplied with either a three or six-metre cable. The battery. operated versions are light and well balanced and can be used to install ties in those areas that have been inaccessible to stationary tool systems.

The tool uses Panduit's continuously moulded miniature cross-section cable ties, which are available in strips of 50 ties, or as a reel of 5,000. The tension of each applied tie is controlled by an adjustment knob and excess tails are collected in a durable, removable tip collector.

Two models are available for maximum bundle diameters of 21mm (PET1M) or 33mm (PET1.5M).
